The rest were Advent patrols with a sectoid mixed in from time to time and of course the nasty General! Dat 100 aim though. The worst I had to deal with was 2 Mutons (regular) and a squad of sneks (why'd it have to be sneks ) with 2 normal vipers, 2 sidewinders & 1 Naja Sniper Snek. However I did have a few Nano-scale vests (which give +3 hp) on my front liners though which is basically predator armor! It's very possible to accomplish Base assaults early on, even though your tech isn't amazing yet the same thing goes for Advent! They won't be able to field high quality units themselves quite yet. My first HQ assault was in the 1st week of May & I was just on Laser weapons. I like to actually rush out a Liberated region as soon as possible as to get a steady supply of income. Tbh, If this is your first liberation I'd almost say you waited too long.
